Valentine's Day offers an opportunity to take your sweetie out for a romantic meal. If you're still looking for the best places to celebrate, check out these restaurants in the Twin Cities:

Sapor Café - 428 Washington Ave. N., Minneapolis - Reservations are required, and for the holiday, the restaurant will host a special three-course dinner that includes fish or seafood, as well as vegetarian and meat options for each course. The meal costs $45 per person and drinks are extra.

Forepaugh's - 276 S. Exchange St., St. Paul - This charming Victorian-style restaurant with a rumored love-story ghost living on the third floor will make for a very romantic Valentine's Day treat. This Valentine's Day menu is crafted by Executive Chef Donald Gonzalez and is $85 per person. Be sure to make a reservation!

Café Barbette - 1600 W. Lake St., Minneapolis - Amorous food is found aplenty on the menu at Cafe Barbette, which was named Best French Restaurant by voters in Mpls/St. Paul Magazine. Enjoy the food, enjoy the evening, and a Happy Valentine's Day for those in love!

Restaurant Alma - 528 University Ave SE, Minneapolis - Quiet, cozy, peaceful and romantic. If these are the qualities you want, Restaurant Alma is the place to go. And you're going to enjoy your dinner! Owner Alex Roberts was named Best Chef: Midwest at the James Beard Foundation Awards. Reservations are recommended.

FACES Mears Park - 373 Sibley Street, St. Paul - A special Valentine's Day menu of New Zealand mussels and lobster tail has been created to make your Valentine's Day special. Reservations are required.

With Valentine's Day falling on a Saturday this year, be prepared for heavy traffic and busy restaurants. If you're able to take public transportation or are energized for a romantic stroll around your neighborhood, you may reach your intended destination more easily.
